The Type 35 Bugatti was one of the most elegant world class roadsters of the 1920's. Type 35s, manufactured from 1924 to 1931, were the cars that established Bugatti as a successful race car manufacturer and was the only automobile of its time that could be driven both on the road and in races. In 1926, Type 35s took 12 major Grand Prix victories and private Type 35s were raced in almost every event at the time. This helped Bugatti take over 2000 victories in 1927 alone. This Type 35 Bugatti replica was originally built in the early eighties using a 1962 Volkswagen beetle drive train and engine. Goodyear All Weather 5-19 inch tires are mounted on wire wheels complete with a spare. The smooth running 1200 CC engine received a recent rebuild. Transmission is a 4 speed with floor shifter. The interior has seating for two with individual windshields and an AM/FM radio. This unique car is ready to be enjoyed for years to come!
