An often forgotten breed of cars is that of the classic Buick muscle cars! With its long body lines and tough exterior this 1966 Buick Riviera will give any Mustang a run for its money. The car underwent a meticulous restoration with great attention paid to detail. It is refinished in single stage factory white which is incredible smooth with no major chips, rust, dents, or any other issues. The car rides on new 20" Torq Thrust polished wheels with knock off style center caps and fresh tires. All weather stripping including trunk, doors, hood, windows, and seems. This keeps the car air tight and rust free. All of the bumpers, trim, handles, knobs, and more have been re-dipped and refinished to insure the chrome all shines beautifully. The fierce looking front end is due to the long chrome grill with hideaway headlights (which include original T3 bulbs). The numbers matching original 425 CI nail head (340 HP/465 ft/lbs of torque) has incredible power and has no problem rumbling down the road. The block is coated in red and the rest in black which really cleans up the look of the engine compartment. The air cleaner is topped with a Buick Wildcat 465 decal to give it that original style. The car has a great tone through the new 2.5" Mandrel bent exhaust with super turbo Dynomax mufflers. This was the introductory year for the turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission which was rebuilt and shifts like new. The original finned aluminum drum brakes have been completely gone through to insure they are working like new while preserving the originality. The interior includes black bucket seats with the console option. These small features can make a huge difference in the value and look of the car. Vintage consoles become increasingly hard to find. The interior was completely gone through just as thoroughly as the rest of the car. The result was beautiful yet comfortable while still remaining original. The AM radio with power antenna is in working condition and sounds great. We cannot describe how nicely the car truly is. From the headliner to the carpet everything is tight and looks amazing. The car comes with the original keys, service manual, original jack, and spare. The original wheel set with turbine wheel covers are also included with the purchase.
