This is a real “U” Code monster 440ci, 375hp, single 4-barrel car, with bucket seats, center console w/a 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering, Rallye gauge package, dual chrome outside mirrors and more. This Challenger R/T spent much of its life in Hawaii, and is also a heater delete car. A comprehensive restoration was completed prior to us getting this Gelen Govier Documented piece. The Challenger being brand new for 1970 and at 3,405 pounds, with several potent engines, and a sticker price of a little over $3,200 was a good competitor for the Camaro and Mustang.
